The company describes RTX Spark as "the first Windows super chip designed for personal artificial intelligence computers." The platform is expected to be used in new devices from manufacturers such as Microsoft Surface, Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS and MSI this fall.

CPU, GPU and AI Power in One Package

RTX Spark brings the experience gained from Nvidia's data center technologies to personal computers. System; It brings together the 20-core Nvidia Grace CPU, Blackwell architecture RTX GPU and fifth generation Tensor cores under a single architecture. The chip can provide high bandwidth between the CPU and GPU thanks to Nvidia's NVLink-C2C connection technology.

According to the data announced by Nvidia, the platform can offer artificial intelligence processing performance of approximately 1 petaflop and provides combined memory support of up to 128 GB. This structure allows large language models to be run directly on the device.

Goal: Cloud-Free Artificial Intelligence

In recent years, most of the artificial intelligence applications were running on cloud servers. The main purpose of RTX Spark is to carry a significant part of these transactions directly to the user's computer.

According to Nvidia, the new platform has the capacity to natively run large language models with up to 120 billion parameters. Thus, users will be able to perform artificial intelligence-supported content production, code development, data analysis and automation tasks without the need for an internet connection.

AI PC Ecosystem Co-Developed with Microsoft

One of the most notable aspects of the announcement was the close collaboration between Nvidia and Microsoft. The two companies are working together on new system components that will enable artificial intelligence agents to run securely on Windows.

It is stated that the OpenShell infrastructure and new Windows security mechanisms developed in this context will allow artificial intelligence agents to perform tasks on behalf of the user. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described this transformation as "the transition from the age of applications to the age of artificial intelligence agents."

New Rival to Intel, AMD and Qualcomm

RTX Spark also represents Nvidia's return to the consumer processor market after many years. While the company has been known for its graphics cards and data center solutions so far, it now wants to have a say in the direct processor market.

While the current leaders of the market are Intel and AMD, recently Qualcomm has also been making significant investments in the Windows-on-Arm segment with the Snapdragon X series. It is evaluated that Nvidia can gain significant advantages in this competition thanks to its strong artificial intelligence ecosystem and CUDA software infrastructure.

The Future of Artificial Intelligence Computers

The "AI PC" concept, which has been frequently used in the technology industry recently, has gained a more concrete structure with RTX Spark. Nvidia's approach aims to transform computers from being devices that only run applications to personal artificial intelligence platforms that can perform tasks on behalf of the user.

According to industry analysts, the success of RTX Spark will depend not only on hardware performance but also on software support and developer adaptation in the Windows ecosystem. However, Nvidia's announcement at Computex 2026 is considered one of the most ambitious steps yet for the future of Arm-based Windows computers.
