Siemens has announced new capabilities for its Eigen Engineering Agent, an AI-powered system developed for industrial automation engineering. In addition to tasks such as PLC programming, HMI visualization, and device configuration, the system is designed to automate processes between electrical engineering and software development.

Fujitsu has begun exploring opportunities in the field of Physical AI with leading robotics companies FANUC, Yaskawa Electric, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The initiative, which will also utilize NVIDIA technologies, aims to develop a common control platform that brings digital systems and physical robots together.

German quantum technology startup SAXON Q has opened its 128-qubit SXQ128 quantum computer for commercial orders, utilizing nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in synthetic diamond.
